Yet another movie starring the most hit pair currently in the Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is out there to entertain all of us. Unlike the previous movies featuring this leading pair, the movie ‘Singh is Kinng’ is completely hilarious from its beginning till the end. The story revolves around Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) who is popular for his clumsiness. All the people of his native place, a small village in Punjab after being completely tired of his menace (although done with a good heart) decide to get rid of him. They set him on a long journey to Australia to get back a fellow villager, Lucky Singh, now a famous gangster. Forced by his inherent nature of messing things up, Happy Singh gets himself landed up in Egypt instead of Australia and there he meets his lady love. The story then takes you through all his misdeeds till he manages to get himself in front of Lucky Singh.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie has every ingredient for delivering a spicy entertainment in true Bollywood sense. Being himself the story writer as well, Anees Bazmee has made up his mind to gift the audience with a true comedy movie. So, while watching it, do not fool yourself by trying to find the logic behind every scene, rather enjoy it with a light heart, putting your brainy instinct on rest. Akshay Kumar is the epi-centre of the movie delivering a fantastic performance like in all of his previous movies in recent past. His superb comic timing sets your mood to watch this heart warming tale. He not only looked great with Katrina Kaif, but also has shown a tremendous comic timing with Om Puri. If you have wished to see more of them interacting in Hera Pheri, Singh Is Kinng gives you that opportunity. The hilarious dialogues along with funny one liners will keep you laughing all through the movie.

As for the performances are concerned, the most convincing part of the movie is the impressive on- screen chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. It has been a pleasure watching the twosome in romantic songs, especially the one set against the backdrop of the famous pyramids of Egypt. Katrina Kaif looked and acted quite well, trying to match up to the level of Akshay Kumar. Om Puri and Kirron Kher have been exceptionally good. Neha Dhupia, Javed Jaffery, Sonu Sood and others have managed to create their own distinct space in the movie.

In addition, the music composed by Pritam had made the movie much awaited even before its release. Most of its songs are already chartbusters, giving extra mileage to the movie. Apart from the top, well known singers like Shreya Ghosal, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Daler Mehendi and Mika Singh, he has got Akshay Kumar also into the singing league, which has turned out to be an added attraction. Snoop Dogg’s song at the end wraps up the movie well. Cinematographer, Ben Nott has done a commendable job. All my thanks go to the producer of the movie, Vipul Shah for bringing together such a great package.

This summer, indulge yourself in a funny and fast comedy movie, giving a break to your thinking nerves. Just go, watch and enjoy.

Almost all things are good. Main thing no kiss scene and no shot dresses used by girl. That is Indian culture “Singh Always Kinng”.
