The towel boy of the industry Ranbeer Kapoor blazed the silver screen with his star qualities on August 15, 2008, with the release of his second movie ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno.’ Posing as the center of attraction with three beautiful ladies of the film industry, I thought that the actor has actually put behind his first catastrophe which came in the form of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s blue film…I mean the film with an all pervasive blue set- Saawariya!!

I thought that the story line was quite simple. It is the story of a young boy who graduates into a man and in these years he falls in love with three girls at the different stages of his life. The young gun goes rampant with his relationships breaking the hearts of the first two girls played by Minisha Lamba and Deepika Pudukone. Though the director had set the first affair in 1996, with both Ranbeer and Minisha aged 18. It is interesting to see two grown ups acting like teenagers…specially so, when the task has been carried out so well. The entry of Dipika adds a new dimension of glamour to the movie. The movie has been brilliantly directed by Siddharth Raj Anand and he has brilliantly used the phenomenon of moving to and fro in time. This movie is a brilliant example of a well directed motion picture that covers all aspects of human tendencies.

Apart from good direction, there are certain other things in the movie also which if you ask me are definite crowd pullers. The first and the foremost of them is Ranbeer Kapoor’s acting, which, in one word is superb. Till Bachna… happened I was only fond the looks of the Kapoor boy, but now I believe from the core of my heart that the youngest Kapoor in the industry has ably inherited the legacy from his great grand father Prithviraj Kapoor. Why just Ranbeer, the acting skills of the leading ladies is also worth applause. Further, the film is an burning example of great cinematography with the panoramic views of Switzerland and Australia.

Talking about ‘Bachna….’ I can’t help but to mention the music which I think is just amazing. The music had every thing that you could ask for, beginning right from dance numbers to heart rendering romantic songs.

I would personally sum up the movie as a good one time watch.
